I went to JoAnn Fabrics today and saw this beautiful home dec fabric on clearance for $3/yd. I knew exactly what to make with it. I've been wanting to make a nice Regency-era dress (think Jane Austen), but didn't want to spend a ton of money on the fabric. This was perfect!
I took the fabric up to the cutting counter and found out that it's actually silk dupioni and costs $16/yd! The amazing part is, JoAnn's honored the $3/yd price!! I can't wait to have some spare sewing time to make my dress!
